Coming in September 2008: Kayak Around Cornwall


In September 2008, I will be joining a team of world champion kayakers on a circumnavigation of Cornwall by sea. The expedition will be totally self-sufficient, and is intended to draw attention to World River Day. More to come on this soon.

Climbing what was once believed to be the world's tallest mountain is the toughest thing I've ever put my puny little body through. But standing at what is still the furthest point from the centre of the earth, as the sun rose over a sea of clouds on the morning of my 21st birthday, still reigns as the most profound moment of my life. May 2004: The 3 - Peaks
Spontaneous, dramatic, dangerous and downright fun! Every time I read this I end up belly laughing on the floor! The 3 Peaks challenge is a race to climb the highest peaks in England Scotland and Wales in under 24 hours. We did them in the wrong order whilst skiving from work - but did we make it in time...?
