Some news
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages!
I'm coming home.
This has been a difficult decision for me. It began as a soft breeze murmuring in my ear and grew into a typhoon that wrought havoc with my psyche as it tore through my head - but as ever the mightier the storm, the clearer the air is afterwards, and now I know where I'm at. You see, I'm a man of action (albeit an action man prone to prolonged bouts of slovenliness); I'm happiest when I'm busy, with pursuits of body or mind. And so I have realised that I'll always be able to travel, the world isn't going anywhere, but unfortunately neither am I.
Surprisingly this decision isn't directly related to my shoulder either (which is getting stronger every day thanks for asking), but who knows, maybe Divine Providence was trying to give me a helping hand by giving me a good excuse to go home.
Well, no excuses and no apologies people.
Of course I may well chage my mind, I might realise I can't actually afford to get home, or I might even make it back only to contract a serious case of itchy feet as soon as I arrive and jump on the first plane that'll take me away again.
Who knows.
But fear not my faithful few, regardless of what happens, come wind or rain, piranas or pelicans, I shall not desert you.

Good for you! Always go home, that's what I say!
Your philosophy seems to be an interesting twist on mine - I'M never happier than when I'm SUPPOSED to be busy!
But the question is begged - where IS home? Philosophically? Spiritually? Geographically? I'm intrigued as to the location of this pirhana-and-pelican infestation!

Ello
It's been a while since I looked on your blog, and I've just read that you're coming home ... of course it's quite likely that you may already be home ... so when are you planning it, or are you already here or what...? Get in contact.
Cheerio
